3M Knifeless Tape is an innovative product that allows graphic installers and vehicle wrappers to create unique designs and bold lines. Precisely and efficiently cut through graphic film without a knife and without surface damage to create a clean line.

There are five varieties available in Australia currently:

Finish Line

Finish Line is a 3.5mm wide single high strength filament tape that sets the industry standard for finishing vehicle graphic installations without a blade. Designed to edge trim single or multiple layer films and laminated graphics. Turn easily in any direction to follow contours, curves and edges on vehicles. 

• The filament is extremely strong and can only be cut with a knife
• Will cut multiple film layers, e.g. laminated prints
• Do not stretch tape when creating curves
• Best used for gentle curves

Design Line

Design Line is a 3.5mm wide single ultra fine filament that provides flexibility to create highly contoured designs with sharp edges. Designed to edge trim single layer films with intricate designs and/or sharp curves. Create unique striping, accents and designs with sharp, clean edges.

• Ultra fine filament can be snapped by hand
• Use for single layer graphics only
• Pull filament with care to avoid snapping
• Tape can be stretched slightly when creating curves
• Best option for very tight curves
• Thinner filament creates sharpest cut

Tri Line

Tri Line are 6mm or 9mm wide ultra fine filament tapes. These unique, triple-lined tapes ensure accurate, consistent stripe width from one end of the car to the other. Designed to create 6mm or 9mm gaps and pinstripes on single layer films. Create pinstripes, gaps and butt seams that rival using a knife or plotter.

Bridge Line

Bridge Line is a 12.7mm wide single high strength filament that creates evenly cut graphics bridging from one panel to the next for a professional finish. Designed to create clean, uniform trims in wide gaps such as between doors, fenders or panel seams.

• Will cut multiple film layers, e.g. laminated prints
• Do not stretch tape when creating curves
• Best used for gentle curves

Perf Line

Perf Line is a 6.35mm wide single high strength filament that cuts perforated window films with a clean and sharp edge. Designed to edge trim perforated window graphics to create a 3mm gap between graphic and rubber seals. Easily cut a uniform margin between window graphic and rubber mouldings.
