3. Produce even more stunning quality, colour accurate prints

A new “True Rich Color” preset takes full advantage of the VG and SG's great colour reproduction capability and the wide colour gamut provided by new TR2 ink2. Deliver vivid, punchy output whilst maintaining neutral greys, smooth gradations and natural skin tones – there’s no need to compromise between colour vibrancy and colour accuracy.

4. TR2 significantly reduces ink consumption

Newly developed ink delivery technology significantly reduces the amount of ink used during maintenance.

5. Produce the most demanding applications with high performance ink

New TrueVIS TR2 ink offers outstanding performance for a huge range of outdoor and indoor graphics, including demanding applications where stretch, adhesion and rub resistance are crucial. Ideal for vehicle wrapping, TR2 ink offers up to 200% stretch3 and delivers unmatched washability for long-lasting results on customised apparel.

6. Benefit from enhanced print and cut functionality and a super streamlined workflow

With the free conversion, you’ll benefit from a host of intelligent and intuitive new features on your VG or SG which optimise print & cut accuracy and speed up your production, including new crop mark option, new PerfCut mode, over cut function and cut and print function.

7. Keep track of production when you're on the move with advanced Roland DG Mobile Panel 2

Plus, new push notifications with the Mobile Panel 2 alert you when a print job or cleaning is completed. With enhanced Bluetooth connectivity, Roland DG Mobile Panel 2 is available at App Store and Google Play4.

8. Ultimate user friendly operation

The latest generation of TrueVIS innovation is built on 35 years of manufacturing expertise, refined with input from thousands of experience users like you. Many sequences, such as the workflow of manual cleaning and sheet cut sequence have been streamlined for efficiency, to reduce user input and save valuable time. Plus, to keep you up and running in the unlikely event of a printhead issue, the new Nozzle Mask function allows you to continue printing using a selectable portion of the printheads.

9. Compatible with new optional media take-up system

After the conversion, your VG or SG will be compatible with a new optional media take-up unit (TU4) which supports two modes for improved take-up accuracy for various types of media. It also supports a smart new mode of taking up while giving some slack to the media, avoiding distortion and achieving stable take-up operation.
